Trains, planes, okay just TRAINS!

Thomas makes everything into a train...blankets, the couch pillows, the kitchen table chairs, and my favorite the toy bins (this involves dumping the toys out all over the floor).

Halloween 2013 Whoo! Whoo!

To say that Thomas is into trains is an understatement.  He loves trains and knows everything about them (Chris and I also know more than we ever thought we would and sadly find ourselves talking about trains even when Thomas is not around)!  We watch Thomas the Train 100 times a day and read Thomas books every night.  Then he reenacts the story lines with his toy trains.  When I tell him that he is going to Grammy and Papa's or Granddaddy and Lady's, he tells me about the trains that they have at their houses.  Everything is a train or a railway.
At bedtime, when Thomas is suppose to be going to sleep, we hear him making train whistle sounds and yelling, "All aboard."  One night Chris went into his room to tell him it was time to go to sleep, and he was crawling around his bed pretending it was a train track.  He quickly dove into bed and then grabbed Keekee from the railing.  As a result of this obsession, Thomas was a conductor for Halloween this year.

Halloween started at the Pumpkin Patch.

Thomas was way more daring this year
and crawled inside this dark pirate ship
and the tunnels of a hay pyramid
 with Daddy of course.

We picked out 3 big  pumpkins and one little pumpkin for the baby.

We went to Trunk or Treat at Mommy's school.

We decorated the car like Knapford Station and the wagon as James.

Daddy dressed as Sir Topham Hatt.
We were so busy handing out candy that he didn't even get a chance to put his hat on.

Halloween was a rainy, cold night.  We went to Lady and Granddaddy's and walked in their neighborhood Halloween Parade.  Thomas only went to one house because of the weather.

However, he liked handing out candy.

Thomas refused to wear his conductor hat or put the scarf in his pocket
so these 2 pictures are the best I could get of his costume.  Happy Halloween!

Aunt Emily

Aunt Emily also came home in October, and we had a great time going to the zoo and Suson Park (Aunt Emily loves to go places like the zoo and science center :))

Thomas had to brush each goat at the Children's Petting Zoo.  He was not happy when these 3 goats would not come down so he could brush them.

Naked Guy

Thomas loves being naked.
He yells, "I naked guy" and runs around in just his diaper most of the day
(thankfully that has stayed on).

One day I went in his room during nap time and his pants were on inside out.  The next day I went into his room, and his shirt and pants were laying on top of him.  He said, "Oh no! My clothes!"  However, when asked, he does not know how to take off his shirt or put on his pants by himself.

Here is a picture of Naked Guy and Aunt Sarah.  We had a great time at Sarah's 30th birthday party and were glad she came home to celebrate with us.

I am WAY behind on the blog so let's start with THOMAS' 2ND BIRTHDAY!

I can't believe this guy is two years old or as Thomas says/yells, "I two years old."

Last year on Thomas' 1st birthday I took a picture of him right when he woke up. I am planning to do this on every birthday. I included a hospital picture too.

On Thomas' real birthday, we went out to breakfast, rode a train on the Wabash Frisco Railway, and opened presents from Momma and Daddy.
Shhhh, I hear a train comin'.

We missed the first train so Thomas could hardly wait... only a few tears were shed.

Thomas got lots of tractors and trucks for his birthday.

Thomas couldn't wait for his birthday guests to arrive.

The theme of his birthday was Thomas the Train.  He loved his birthday cake.  To this day, whenever he goes to a birthday party, he says, "Blue birthday cake there."

He really wanted the train on the cake.

He swayed back and forth as we sang "Happy Birthday" to him.

Happy Birthday T!
