Christmas 2013

Daddy and Thomas picked out the most beautiful tree ever.  When they went to Home Depot to get it, Thomas said, "That's too big" about all the Christmas trees so the two of them had to go down every isle in Home Depot looking for a little tree.  He was yelling, "Little Christmas tree, where are you?" throughout the entire store.  Luckily Daddy was able to convince Thomas to let him buy this big one.  Thomas says that he wants a blue Christmas tree next year.  Good luck, Daddy.

 

James met Aunt Sarah and Uncle Mike for the first time.

Thomas opened lots of wonderful presents from very generous aunts, uncles, cousins, and grandparents.  He also got to open James' presents.  Thank you for all the books, games, and TRAINS!

Thomas loved this book, How to Train a Train.  We have had great fun reading and rereading this book.  Daddy pretends to get the trains' names wrong by calling them all Johnny, and Thomas laughs and laughs and says, "That's not Johnny."  Smokey and Little Miss Muffinhead are his favorites.  Steamies have a special place in Thomas' heart.

 

On Christmas Eve, we went to Lady and Granddaddy's house. 

 We missed Aunt Emily.

 

 

"No pictures."  Lady loves this face.

 

Thomas "helped" everyone open their presents.

 

 

Christmas Morning

 

 

Santa brought Thomas a train table.

 

 

Thomas was so busy playing with his train table that he didn't even want to open his other presents.

 

 

Christmas day we went to Grammy and Papa's for dinner and more presents!

 

 

Thomas needed Daddy to put the trailer together for his Cozy Coup.  

James' First Bath in the Bathtub

 

Thomas is a great helper when we give James a bath. 

He puts all his toys into the baby bathtub.
