James did this model pose every time he would stop crawling which wasn't very often.

7 Months

James briefly clapped and waved this month.  However, he quickly abandoned practicing these skills to focus on pulling up!  This kid is on a race to keep up with his brother.  Thomas told me when James can walk, we aren't going to stop at the mailboxes (Thomas has to stop at the mailboxes when we go for walks).  I am in big trouble.

Iowa 2014

We also had fun in The Iowa.  Thomas loved the parade and made train and siren noises the whole time.  The parade had all of his favorites... trains, tractors, trucks, fire engines, and horses.

Thomas loved the fireworks again this year.  A boy in the crowd gave Thomas a light up sword which was also a highlight.  He still talks about it.  James made it about half way through.

 

Lake 2014

We had a wonderful time at the lake this year. 

James let us ride in the boat even though he had to wear this neck brace

AND

Both boys let us fish. 

Thomas caught a fish despite his unconventional methods.

 

We spent time with Bubba Watson, Aunt Shirley, Laura, Caroline, and Catherine. 

 

 Thomas built trains all over the dock and up the walk way so we could barely get to the dock. 

 

Thomas swam all by himself, and James enjoyed swimming too.

Aunt Emily and Granddaddy were there.  Enough said.

Thomas drove the boat, and James got to be the co-captain.

Even though everyone says that James and Thomas look like their Daddy, the mystery is solved...

It depends on who's holding who?!?!
