Aunt Emily

Aunt Emily also came home in October, and we had a great time going to the zoo and Suson Park (Aunt Emily loves to go places like the zoo and science center :))

Thomas had to brush each goat at the Children's Petting Zoo.  He was not happy when these 3 goats would not come down so he could brush them.

Naked Guy

Thomas loves being naked. 

He yells, "I naked guy" and runs around in just his diaper most of the day 

(thankfully that has stayed on). 

 

One day I went in his room during nap time and his pants were on inside out.  The next day I went into his room, and his shirt and pants were laying on top of him.  He said, "Oh no! My clothes!"  However, when asked, he does not know how to take off his shirt or put on his pants by himself.

Here is a picture of Naked Guy and Aunt Sarah.  We had a great time at Sarah's 30th birthday party and were glad she came home to celebrate with us.

I am WAY behind on the blog so let's start with THOMAS' 2ND BIRTHDAY!

I can't believe this guy is two years old or as Thomas says/yells, "I two years old." 

 

Last year on Thomas' 1st birthday I took a picture of him right when he woke up. I am planning to do this on every birthday. I included a hospital picture too.

On Thomas' real birthday, we went out to breakfast, rode a train on the Wabash Frisco Railway, and opened presents from Momma and Daddy.

Shhhh, I hear a train comin'.

 

 

 

We missed the first train so Thomas could hardly wait... only a few tears were shed.

Thomas got lots of tractors and trucks for his birthday.

 



 

Thomas couldn't wait for his birthday guests to arrive.

The theme of his birthday was Thomas the Train.  He loved his birthday cake.  To this day, whenever he goes to a birthday party, he says, "Blue birthday cake there."

 

He really wanted the train on the cake.

 

He swayed back and forth as we sang "Happy Birthday" to him.

Fun Times in August and September

I can't believe that September is almost over!  We have been very busy having fun.  Below are some pictures from our adventures to Suson Park, the Magic House, Transportation Day, and the Cardinals game.

Thomas loved Peaches! He still talks about Peaches but not as much as Rusty and Babe.  Thomas thinks that the baby is going to be a baby sister named Rusty.

We saw goats, sheep, turkeys, chickens, and even a peacock.

Thomas loved all the animals.  He did what he normally does when he gets excited, jump up and down and yell.  He was yelling the animal sounds and "Giddy up horsey." 

 This is the Momma pig with one of her three babies. 

We also saw a big, big horse.

 

MAGIC HOUSE

 

 

All Thomas wanted to do was drive this big milk truck.  We kept trying to get him to do other things, but he would just run back to the truck. 

Daddy finally got him to go fishing.  He also liked climbing up the spiral staircase and going down the slide because he could do it all by himself.

 

CARDINALS GAME

 

 

 

 

 GO CARDINALS!

Thomas loved cheering for the cardinals.  He was clapping, yelling, and dancing.  His favorite part was when Fredbird drove around the field in a FORD truck and then went in the tunnel.  Trucks and tunnels!!!  Hope the people in front of us were as into the game as he was.  I am sure they appreciated when we left in the third inning.  It was HOT.

TRANSPORTATION DAY

 

 

 

We saw lots of trucks including a fire truck!

 

 

Thomas was shy about climbing into the trucks at first, but eventually he drove a bulldozer, dump truck, and boat.  Momma's favorite was the ambulance.  At first they wouldn't let me in until they knew I wasn't due for a few more months.  They said that they could deliver the baby if they needed to but I said "No thank you."

 

 

 

I know this day will come WAY too soon.

 

 

 

Thomas' favorite mode of transportation was the horse drawn carriage and there weren't even any horses there to pull it.  I guess he is an old soul like his Momma.
